Governor Muktabar and Police Chief Discuss Banten’s Safety and Economic Future
BANTEN, FOKUS.CO.ID - Banten Acting Governor Al Muktabar hosted Banten Police Chief Inspector General Suyudi Ario Seto and his key officials at the Governor's official residence in Serang on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.
Banten Acting Governor Al Muktabar highlighted the well-maintained public security and order in Banten Province, including during the recent simultaneous elections.
“This is a good tradition that must be preserved. We discussed many things, including the potential and conditions of public security in Banten Province,” said Muktabar.
He also emphasized the strong and synergistic collaboration among the provincial leadership in implementing both local and national government agendas.
“This synergy has resulted in good economic growth. Investments in Banten Province have also increased significantly, thanks to the well-maintained public security,” he added.
As a representative of the central government, the Governor assured his support for joint efforts beyond the primary duties that must be performed.
Meanwhile, Police Chief Inspector General Suyudi Ario Seto, who is new to his post and the province, expressed his intention to foster good relations with the provincial leadership.
“We are grateful that the provincial leadership is very open and warmly welcomed us,” he said.
He emphasized that this harmonious relationship is essential for maintaining security and economic development in Banten Province.
“As the new Police Chief, I fully support both local and national programs in Banten, including those initiated by my predecessor,” he stated.
Suyudi mentioned that Banten is not new to him, as his first assignment after graduating from the Police Academy was with the Brimob unit in Banten. “About 30 years ago, I served here. Additionally, my mother is a native of Banten,” he added.
