Concrete Roads Make Car Tires Wear Out Faster
The Impact of Concrete Roads on Tire Durability

In Indonesia, roads are not only made of asphalt.

Concrete roads are now widely used.

The surface of concrete roads differs from asphalt, affecting car tires.

Many believe that concrete roads cause tires to wear out faster.

Fokus.co.id interviewed Fisa Rizqiano, Deputy Head OE Sales at Bridgestone Indonesia, to clarify this issue.

"It is true that concrete roads negatively affect tires," Fisa confirmed.

He explained that concrete surfaces have grooves that make them uneven.

When cars move at high speeds, tires vibrate.

Uneven contact with the road creates irregular friction on the tread.

Over time, this causes uneven wear on the tires.

"This condition shortens the tire's lifespan," he emphasized.

To prevent damage, check tire pressure regularly.

"Always ensure normal tire pressure to avoid quick wear," Fisa concluded.
