PANDEGLANG, FOKUS NEWS - Overview The Badan Pendapatan Daerah (Bapenda) Kabupaten Pandeglang aims to enhance local revenue (PAD) through more effective advertising tax collection. By increasing the number of taxpayers and taxable objects, they seek to optimize this source of revenue.
Efforts and Actions Bapenda Pandeglang, under the leadership of Ramadani, has initiated efforts to identify potential advertising tax sources, including health practice signs and notary offices. According to Ramadani, "We have contacted the Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI), Notary Association, and Land Deed Official Association (PPAT) to register their members. There is advertising tax potential from their practice signs" (Ramadani, 2025).
Tax Targets and Projections The organization aims to increase advertising tax revenue to Rp1.7 billion in 2025, a 5% increase from the previous year. However, current realization stands at only 10%, approximately Rp174 million.
Contribution from Cigarette Advertisements In addition to regular advertising tax, local revenue benefits significantly from cigarette advertisements. Ramadani mentioned, "We have recorded cigarette advertisements since receiving permission confirmation from DPMPTSP. After that, their NPWPD (Local Taxpayer Number) is directly printed" (Ramadani, 2025). The advertising tax for cigarette ads is notably higher compared to regular advertisements.
Other Significant Contributors Franchise businesses such as Alfamart, Alfamidi, and Indomaret also play a crucial role in contributing to local revenue. When combined with other stores, the revenue generated is considerable.
